Thermenmuseum

The Thermenmuseum (Roman baths museum) in Heerlen is built on a site where a Roman bathhouse was excavated. In a special light-and-sound show, potter Lucius gives you a detailed and vivid description of his experiences on his first visit to the bathhouse. The museum exhibition uses text, models, drawings and reconstructions to give visitors an idea of what Roman life was like in the trading post of Coriovallum.
