The Historic Printshop Museum is located in a 19th-century house with an inner courtyard and a chapel in the centre of Maastricht. Here you will find a unique historic printing establishment dating from around 1900. The chapel structure houses various exhibitions with a focus on the art of printing. During the guided tour, you are treated to a historic overview of the art of printing - with the help of various materials, tools and printing presses - ranging from the first book-blocks to etchings by Rembrandt and litho prints by Toulouse Lautrec. Several old printing presses are still operational.
