Maastricht museum of natural history

The Maastricht Museum of Natural History tells nature's tale for the region of Maastricht - of long ago as well as today. Top exhibits include the fossils of the reptilian mosasaurus ‘Bèr’ and the giant sea turtles, found in the marl layers in Sint Pietersberg. Surprisingly original slideshows, computer games and aquaria provide visitors with a close-up look at everything that lives and grows in the region of Maastricht as well as the relationship between man and nature. If arrangements are made in advance, the museum can organise guided tours, lessons, or practicals for various groups, in which group members work with and learn all about fossils. 
The auditorium, museum café and botanical garden make this a refreshingly original location for seminars, receptions, conferences or other group activities.
