The historic city centre of Maastricht is the perfect place to while away the afternoon/evening while enjoying the local culinary attractions and sights & sounds. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will take a walking tour and visit various local restaurants, where you will be served various dishes (first course, main course and dessert). During your walk, your guide will tell you about the city and the various restaurants you will be visiting. Many of the restaurants in Maastricht have adopted the French cuisine, but they often also serve typical regional dishes such as Knien in ‘t zoer met zwarte proeme (Maastricht dialect: marinated rabbit with black plums), Tête de veau (calf ’s head), Zoervleis met friet (sour meat stew with chips), or Reubesop (turnip soup), accompanied by a locally-produced wine. Depending upon your choice of restaurants or pub eateries, your evening can have a very different character.
Due to the great diversity of available restaurants, each package is tailor-made to the wishes of specific groups of at least 5 people.
