Discover the Netherlands’ oldest brewery in one of the most beautiful locations in the South Limburg hills. Get to know the centuries-old history of the beer that is Limburg’s pride. Feel, smell and taste Brand’s special beers. In the former Brand family home in Wijlre, you can learn about the rich history of the Brand Brewery. You will be personally welcomed and given a tour of the Brand museum’s unique collection. After visiting the museum, you will be taken on a tour of the brewery where you can learn all about the brewing process. You will see (and smell!) how Brand is still brewed daily with passion and love for the craft. Next you will visit the bottling plant and finish the day in ‘t Kelderke (“the little cellar”). In this pub - which dates back more than 70 years - you can try the unique Brand beers for yourself. The murals in ‘t Kelderke show the role that Brand Beer plays in the life of Limburg. For the genuine beer enthusiasts, the Brand Feeling offers the opportunity to purchase a wide selection of one-of-a-kind Brand Beer products.
