In the relaxed and residential Jeker district of Maastricht, on the Maastrichter Heidenstraat, you will find Galerie Guy Olivier. The latest works of Guy Olivier, an artist living in Liège, are always on display here. As of January 2009, a richly illustrated book devoted to Guy Olivier and his work will also be available at the gallery. 

Frans T. Stoks wrote: ‘The work of Guy Olivier is steeped in the earthly pleasures of life but with absurd undertones or grotesque accents and almost always with a culinary background or flavour: white girls’ arms resembling sausages, pouting red lips of uninhibited beauties which have just dipped into the most exquisite delicacies, pairs of eyes which almost never look in the same direction… If anything, this is certainly an embarrassment of riches!’
