Million Line and Steam Train

The ZLSM rides over the famous Million Line right through the hill country between Schin op Geul and Kerkrade, and on Sundays all the way to Heerlen. The journey can be made by steam train or by taking the “Schienenbus” (panorama train). The steam train consists of a Swedish coal-fired locomotive in front of Belgian coaches built in 1934 (1st class) and 1955 (2nd class).
