City on the banks of the Meuse
Maastricht thanks its existence to the Meuse River. After the Romans built a bridge here to cross the river, a settlement grew up along the river banks, which then developed into what we now call Maastricht. From the water, you get to see a whole different side of Maastricht. From the city centre, you can cruise to the historic inner harbour, alongside St. Pietersberg Hill, and towards Liège or Visé in Belgium. Or book a special cruise, such as an Afternoon Tea Cruise, a Brunch Cruise or a Saturday Night Cruise..
